This was my response to the great reading resources, which was the first link.
"Just think about the amount of time we use in entertaining ourselves. Our time spent learning and growing in our knowledge and understanding of God is minimal in comparison. Paul's prayer for the church in Colossi seems so fitting for us in the church today. "We have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord and fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God".(Col. 1: 9-10)
